Help Support The Sale Of Out-Of-State Hemp Products / Oppose The Criminalization Of Delta-8 Products
In Hawaii, three bills—HB 1424, SB 516, and SB 651—would require hemp product labels to state the origin and percentage of hemp in the product that is sourced outside Hawaii and the percentage of hemp that is grown in Hawaii. The label requirement would increase costs for hemp manufacturers and would be unique to Hawaii.
HB 70 and SB 651 would effectively criminalize delta-8 and ban products from containing it, rather than limiting the products by age or to adult-use cannabis markets.
Please use our State Action Center to urge lawmakers to oppose the burdensome label requirements in HB 1424, SB 516, and SB 651 and the criminalization of delta-8 in HB 70 and SB 651. Our technology makes it super easy. Once you input your zip code, the appropriate email or state petition will populate—with your legislators’ office already identified and an editable message prepared. With a simple click of the button, lawmakers will hear your voice loud and clear.
Even if you aren’t a Hawaii resident or business, please share this page with your friends, colleagues, customers, and social media contacts in the state. Help us build our Hemp Supporter armies to assist us in these battles, which have a national impact.
