Support the Growing Climate Solutions Act

The U.S. Hemp Roundtable is proud to endorse the Growing Climate Solutions Act (S. 1251). The Act creates a certification program at USDA that would break down barriers for farmers interested in participating in carbon markets so they can be rewarded for climate-smart practices.
The bill passed the U.S. Senate on June 24th in an overwhelming, bi-partisan vote, 92 to 8. More than 175 major corporations and organizations have endorsed it, including McDonald’s, American Farmland Trust, Microsoft, and the Center for Sustainable Climate Solutions.
