Urge Your Members of Congress to Support Our Troops’ Access to CBD
Last year, the U.S. Department of Defense quietly adopted a policy that criminalizes the use of hemp products by U.S. military personnel. Four military branches already had their own restrictive policies on CBD. On July 20, 2020 the U.S. House of Representatives approved an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) to allow service members to use products containing hemp, including CBD. Unfortunately, the amendment was not included in the Senate’s version of the NDAA, which passed on July 23, and was not included in the final bill
The battle, however, is not over. As a new Congress meets this year, we are hoping for another hearing. Please use our portal to urge your Members of Congress to support legislation allowing the use of hemp products by U.S. military personnel. Our portal makes it super easy.
