PAST BILL

Urge Lawmakers in North Dakota to Support Hemp!

PASSED January 25, 2020

Last year, the City Attorney of Bismarck, North Dakota, Jannelle Combs, issued guidance, inaccurately alleging that hemp-derived cannabidiol (CBD) is prohibited by law to be sold in retail stores in their state. Combs has asked the North Dakota Attorney General to issue a formal legal opinion on CBD products. We are also aware of a pending state criminal action against a defendant for selling CBD products in North Dakota. We ask for your help in redressing these actions which have cast a chill on legal commerce in popular products that promote health and wellness among North Dakota citizens.
