HOT OFF THE PRESS!
ICYMI: On the same day President Trump signed the 2018 Farm Bill into law, Kentucky became the first state to submit its regulatory plan for hemp production to the U.S. Department of Agriculture. As our General Counsel, Jonathan Miller explained in his bill summary, the new legal regime requires states to submit permanent hemp growing plans to the USDA for approval. The agency then has 60 days to consider.
