Please Share Your Comments About NY State’s Proposed Hemp/CBD Regulations

U.S. Hemp Roundtable

Last month, after significant outreach to stakeholders in the hemp and CBD industry, the New York Department of Health released its updated proposed regulations for cannabinoid hemp. Here’s a link to the regs as well as the original public commentary.

In summary, they are excellent – state officials did a masterful job of working with the US Hemp Roundtable and local hemp groups to ensure that the proposed regulations not only would serve the best interests of NY farmers and consumers, but also that they could be a model for the nation.

Of course, even excellent products can be improved, and the state is asking for one more round of public comment. On Tuesday, the Roundtable shared its comments with agency. We encourage you to do the same, and would be especially pleased if you can reinforce some of our arguments from the varied perspectives of our diverse industry.

If you would like to submit comments, they must be directed to the New York State Department of Health Regulatory Affairs Unit at the following email address: [email protected]. To submit a comment through the mail or via FAX, use the address information below:
