Senate Committee To Vote On SAFE Banking Soon — Take Action Today!

Exciting news! A crucial vote is looming in the Senate Banking Committee that could pave the way for significant advancements in the hemp industry. As reported by Marijuana Moment, Senate Banking Committee Chairman Sherrod Brown (D-OH) says his panel will vote on sending a bipartisan cannabis banking bill to the floor “in the next two or three weeks.” As we previously reported, Sen. Brown has promised quick action on this bill which is critical to the financial viability of the hemp and cannabis industries.

We urge you to seize this opportunity and make your voice heard by reaching out to your members of Congress. Together, we can ensure the passage of The SAFE Banking Act and unlock the full potential of the hemp market!

The Secure and Fair Enforcement (SAFE) Banking Act, sponsored in the Senate by hemp champion Jeff Merkley (D-OR), aims to address the ongoing banking challenges faced by cannabis and hemp businesses. After passing the U.S. House in some form SEVEN times, this legislation has continued to be stalled by the Senate. This development presents a critical chance for us to help secure vital financial services for cannabis and hemp-related businesses, including access to banking, loans, and other financial tools that are currently out of reach due to outdated regulations.

Please use our Federal Action Center TODAY to send an email directly to your members of Congress urging them to support SAFE Banking for hemp businesses. This one small action can have a huge impact on the future of the industry.

Thank you for your support!
