South Dakota – Step in the Right Direction
GOOD NEWS FOR SOUTH DAKOTA: Back in March we reported that South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem vetoed a bill that would have legalized hemp growth and hemp product sales; and legislators barely failed to override her veto.
We’re excited to share that key legislative leaders from South Dakota – as well as the Governor’s Policy Director — came to Kentucky this week to meet with the U.S. Hemp Roundtable’s leaders and the Kentucky Department of Agriculture, as well as visit hemp farms and processing operations.
We’re moving in the right direction, and helping to advise them on bringing South Dakota into the hemp world.
