This morning, the Growing Climate Solutions Act passed in the Senate by a vote of 92-8. Now, we need your help to cross the finish line and build momentum as the focus shifts to the House. Please use our Federal Action Center ASAP to encourage support from your Representative!

The U.S. Hemp Roundtable is proud to endorse the Growing Climate Solutions Act (S. 1251). The Act creates a certification program at USDA that would break down barriers for farmers interested in participating in carbon markets so they can be rewarded for climate-smart practices.

The bill passed the U.S. Senate on June 24^th in an overwhelming, bi-partisan vote, 92 to 8. More than 175 major corporations and organizations have endorsed it, including McDonald’s, American Farmland Trust, Microsoft, and the Center for Sustainable Climate Solutions.
