David Moore is a beverage executive and government affairs leader with
extensive experience operating within highly regulated consumer
product industries. He currently serves in senior government and
regulatory affairs roles for Climbing Kites, a nationally distributed
hemp-derived beverage company, and Big Grove Brewery, one of the
Midwest’s leading independent craft breweries. His work centers on
advancing clear, enforceable regulatory frameworks that protect
consumers, support responsible businesses, and preserve lawful access
to hemp-derived products through traditional retail and distribution
systems.

David is actively engaged at the state and federal levels, working
with legislators, regulators, wholesalers, retailers, and trade
associations to align policy with practical market realities. He
serves on the boards of the U.S. Hemp Roundtable and the U.S. Hemp
Authority, where he advocates for compliance, transparency, and
long-term industry stability. Based in Iowa, David brings an
operator-informed perspective to policy discussions grounded in
real-world execution.
