PAST BILL
New Hampshire 2026 – SB 485 and SB 624 (failed to pass)
PASSED July 01, 2026
SB 485 (Oppose)
Did not pass the Senate. This bill would have created an alcohol-style regime under the Liquor Commission, maintained a strict 0.3% THC dry-weight limit, banned direct-to-consumer shipping and delivery, and required 21+ in-person sales at licensed retail only.
SB 624 (Oppose)
Passed the Senate but was never taken up in the House. The bill would have restricted access to hemp-derived products with natural or synthetic THC above 0.3% dry weight and treats all THC isomers as THC. While age gating is appropriate, collapsing all isomers risks sweeping out compliant adult products. A committee amendment would have further restricted lawful products by establishing a 0.4 milligram THC per container limit, replacing the existing dry-weight standard.
