PAST BILL

Help Oppose Overly Restrictive THC Limits, Age Limits, And A Delta-8 Ban

PASSED January 01, 2024

SB 516 and HB 556 would limit total THC in hemp products to 0.5 mg per serving and 2.5 mg per package, restrict these products to adults, and likely result in a ban of delta-8 THC. Arbitrary and overly restrictive THC limits will destroy the hemp products market, and age limitations for non-intoxicating products and criminalization of delta-8 go too far. The more reasonable approach is strict regulation and limiting delta-8 and similar products to persons 21 or older so that they are kept out of the hands of children.

Please use our State Action Center to urge lawmakers to oppose SB 516 and HB 556. Our technology makes it super easy.
