PAST BILL

Help Stop A Ban On Delta-8 THC Products

PASSED January 01, 2024

SB 2096 would limit hemp tinctures to 30ml and would require them to have at least 25% of denatured-alcohol. The bill would require hemp commodities and products to comply with the federal Food and Drug Act and prohibit the sale of non-FDA-approved hemp-derived products as dietary supplements or food or beverages. The bill would also prohibit a hemp commodity or product from containing cannabinoids like delta-8, when the more reasonable approach is to strictly regulate these products and keep them out of the hands of children.
