SB 1676 and HB 1475 would limit total THC in hemp products to 0.5 mg per serving and 2 mg per package, restrict these products to adults, and likely result in a ban of delta-8 THC. Arbitrary and overly restrictive THC limits will destroy the hemp products market, and age limitations for non-intoxicating products and criminalization of delta-8 go too far. The more reasonable approach is strict regulation and limiting delta-8 and similar products to persons 21 or older so that they are kept out of the hands of children.
