PAST BILL

Urge Lawmakers in Florida to Support Hemp!

PASSED May 21, 2020

Throughout last year, the Tallahassee Police Department conducted multiple seizures of products from a CBD store worth a total of $500,000. The TPD left a letter in the store during the latest raid, warning that Florida law prohibits offering or selling any products derived from cannabis without a medical marijuana distributor license. The letter threatened criminal charges if the store owner continues to offer or sell these products without such a license. We ask for your help in redressing these actions which have cast a chill on commerce in popular products that promote health and wellness among Florida citizens.
