A5440 & S3944: Help Support Fair Regulations for Delta-8

A5440 and S3944 would have effectively prohibited delta-8 by limiting hemp and hemp products to 0.3% delta-8. When this campaign was active, we encouraged New Jersey lawmakers to follow Kentucky’s model, which calls for strict regulation of intoxicating products and makes sure that they are unavailable to minors.
A5440 passed the New Jersey assembly 75-0-1 on 6/30/23, but it did not move past a 2nd reading in the Senate. S3944 was introduced in the Senate and did not move past a 2nd reading.
