Urge Lawmakers in Pennsylvania to Support Hemp!
The Pennsylvania legislature is currently considering at least two important bills related to hemp.
Senate Bill 936 would amend Pennsylvania’s definition of marijuana to match the definition of marijuana in the federal Controlled Substances Act, which specifically excludes hemp. Senate Bill 335 would explicitly permit the sale of ingestible hemp products, such as hemp-derived cannabidiol (CBD).
The Roundtable is following Senate Bill 936 and Senate Bill 335 through the legislative process, but because the bills were introduced only recently, passage is not expected soon. Please periodically check this page or follow the process on your own here.
In the meantime, please use our portal to send an email, urging Pennsylvania legislators to support Senate Bill 936 and Senate Bill 335.
Our portal makes this super easy, with your legislators already identified and an editable message prepared. Just type in your zip code and the appropriate email or petition will appear. Then, click the “submit” button so that your state legislators will learn of your support!
