Urge Lawmakers in Hawaii to Support Hemp!
Hawaii’s Department of Health has been taking one of the toughest stances against CBD: claiming that it cannot be marketed as a dietary supplement or food or beverage additive, and threatening legal action against its retail sale. Fortunately, SB 2050 was recently introduced in the Hawaii Senate that would establish a regulatory framework for such products. While Roundtable lobbyists are working on improving certain elements of the bill, the legislation is already favorable in that it conclusively establishes that products containing CBD are not considered adulterated food, beverage or cosmetics and would permit the regulated sale of hemp CBD as a dietary supplement and food/beverage additive.
If you are a resident or business owner in Hawaii, please use our portal to send an email to your state legislators to support legislation to permit the retail sale of hemp-derived CBD.
Our portal makes it super easy -- once you input your zip code, the appropriate email or state petition will populate -- with your legislators already identified and an editable message prepared. With a simple click of the button, they will hear your voice loud and clear.
Even if you do not hail from the Aloha State yourself, please share this petition with your friends, colleagues, customers and social media contacts in Hawaii - help us build our Hemp Supporter armies to assist us in these battles which have a national impact.
