Urge Lawmakers in Michigan to Support Hemp!
The Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) has stated that hemp-derived cannabidiol (CBD) products cannot be labeled as a food or dietary until the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approves CBD as a food additive.
We think LARA’s position is incorrect and we need your help in urging Michigan legislators to support legislation and/or rules clarifying that CBD can be marketed and sold as a food or dietary supplement.
Our portal makes this super easy, with your legislators already identified and an editable message prepared. Just type in your zip code and the appropriate email or petition will appear. Then, click the “submit” button so that your state legislators will learn of your support for hemp products!
