Help Stop the Congressional Attempt to Ban Hemp Products
Congress just took an important step forward. The Senate passed its agriculture appropriations bill without the dangerous hemp-killing language that would have wiped out more than 95% of the industry. This is a major win for farmers, small businesses, and consumers, but our work is far from over. Negotiations continue in both the Senate and the House, and the threat of prohibition could still reemerge. We must keep the pressure on and make clear that the path forward is responsible, science-based regulation, not broad bans that punish legitimate businesses and limit consumer access.
Take action now by urging your members of Congress to vote NO on any hemp bans and to sign onto the bipartisan letters being led in both chambers. These letters call for strong regulations that:
- Restrict sales to adults over 21
- Standardize packaging and labeling
- Prohibit synthetic and artificially derived cannabinoids
- Require independent third-party testing to ensure safety
Fill out the form below and make your voice heard. Congress needs to know that the hemp industry won’t back down.
