H.R.6134, CBD Product Safety and Standardization Act of 2021, was introduced by Rep. Kathleen Rice (D-NY) in the 117th Congress. This bill would regulate hemp-derived cannabidiol (CBD) as a food additive. This bill did not pass and has been re-introduced in the 118th Congress by Rep. Morgan Griffith (R-VA) as H.R.1628.
