Urge Lawmakers in Georgia to Support Hemp!
In March 2019, Georgia enacted the Georgia Hemp Farming Act, which establishes a pilot program and allows farmers and processors to obtain licenses to grow and process hemp. Unfortunately, state officials continue to argue that hemp-derived cannabidiol (CBD) cannot be marketed and sold as a food or dietary supplement.
We need your help in urging your legislators to support legislation to expand the state’s hemp program and adopt rules that allow CBD to be marketed and sold as a food or dietary supplement.
If you are a resident or business owner in Georgia, please use our portal to send an email to your state legislators to support this legislative reform.
Our portal makes this super easy, with your legislators already identified and an editable message prepared. Just type in your zip code and the appropriate email or petition will appear. Then, click the “submit” button so that your state legislators will learn of your support!
